Description:
Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Johnson City, TN area!
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, including onboarding, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, returns processing, inventory control, and light assembly.
- Ensure all inbound and outbound orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with customer requirements and carrier specifications.
- Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and thorough investigation of discrepancies.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations to promote and maintain a safe working environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout, workflows, and equipment utilization to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Partner cross-functionally with departments such as Customer Service, Purchasing, Marketing, IT, and external vendors/consultants to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
- Address and resolve customer and carrier concerns related to shipping, delivery, and returns.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, accuracy, turnaround times, and inventory shrinkage.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and errors, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce inaccuracies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of warehouse distribution experience
- 2+ years experience in a leadership role
- Experience with WMS
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of CI methodologies and Six Sigma
