Warehouse Manager Needed

Location – Kernersville, NC
Full-Time | Leadership Opportunity | 4-Day Work Week

Our Client, a leading provider of custom closet and storage solutions, is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations at their Kernersville, NC facility. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence across receiving, inventory management, shipping, order fulfillment, safety, staffing, and process improvement.

As the Warehouse Manager, you will:
  • Lead all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and organization
  • Manage, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors, team leads, and associates
  • Establish productivity goals and performance expectations for warehouse staff
  • Create staffing plans and labor allocation strategies to meet business demands
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, inventory accuracy, and cost reduction
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
    • Inventory accuracy
    • Order fulfillment accuracy
    • Shipping performance
    • Labor productivity
    • Safety metrics
  • Oversee inventory management processes, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations
  • Partner with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Develop and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to workplace safety standards
  • Manage facility organization, equipment maintenance, and warehouse resources
  • Assist with budgeting and cost-control initiatives
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse leadership experience
  • At least 2 years of warehouse management experience
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Warehouse operations
    • Shipping and receiving
    • Inventory management
    • Order fulfillment
    • Logistics coordination
Preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Experience within manufacturing, distribution, or fulfillment environments
