Now hiring for a Warehouse Manager - Direct Hire

Location: Montpelier, OH

Salary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Job Duties:

• Maintain accurate inventory counts at all locations as well as a standard cycle count rotation.
• Take part in year-end physical inventories and procedures.
• Manage incoming raw inventories from the production floor returned to the warehouse and communicate any changes or inaccuracies.
• Monitor the production schedule for running and upcoming jobs and communicate if materials, packaging, or components are needed for the production run. Communicate to the Manufacturing Manager and Purchasing Dept with any material shortages.
• Coordinate staging for incoming material, WIP, and finished goods and communicate to the shipping clerks.
• Communicate with management team if jobs will be cut short due to lack of needed inventory.
• Communicate with the Manufacturing Manager any information that needs to be relayed to the off shifts.
• Coordinate regrind tracking and usage with the Manufacturing Manager.
• Communicate with the Quality Manager on any suspect material and help facilitate any vendor returns.
• Supervise Shipping and Receiving Clerks.
• Ensure all labels and products are easily accessible and accurate for inventory purposes (multiple times daily).
• Train all Shipping & Receiving Clerks in order to administer the above in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition according to company standards.
• Report any safety issues immediately.
• Drive a box truck to local locations to deliver product. (Manual Transmission).
• Other duties and secondary functions as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or certifications in logistics a plus
• 2+ years of warehouse supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and safety regulations
• Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and basic computer skills
• Able to lead by example, motivate a team, and solve problems on the fly
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to operational excellence
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
