Position Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring product moves accurately and on time through the facility. This role works closely with the logistics and scheduling teams to coordinate inbound and outbound flow, maintain inventory accuracy, and support efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company procedures.
Coordinate daily with logistics and scheduling teams to align warehouse activity with delivery and production needs.
Supervise receiving, staging, put-away, picking, packing, and outbound shipment processes.
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.•
Investigate and resolve shipping, receiving, inventory, and freight discrepancies.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and physical inventories.
Monitor warehouse organization, cleanliness, safety, and equipment readiness.
Ensure materials are handled properly and that product quality is maintained throughout the shipping and receiving process.
Train, coach, and support warehouse staff to promote productivity, accuracy, and accountability.
Enforce safety standards and company policies in all warehouse activities.
Communicate status updates, delays, and issues to internal partners in a timely manner.
Identify opportunities to improve workflow, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience.
Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping documents, and warehouse operations.
Ability to work closely with logistics, scheduling, and operations teams.
Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory tracking systems preferred.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to lift [insert weight requirement] and operate warehouse equipment if needed.
Forklift certification preferred / Stand up forklift experience needed.
BI-LINGUAL (English Spanish).
Must be open to ALL shifts.
Preferred Skills
Experience managing shipping and receiving in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
Familiarity with freight carriers, LTL/FTL shipments, and receiving workflows.
Ability to analyze operational issues and implement process improvements.
Strong leadership skills with a hands-on management style.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
