JOB SUMMARY:

The warehouse Manager Oversees receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations across company warehouse facilities in Irvine and Tustin. This role develops and implements warehouse systems and processes, including product handling and storage requirements, inventory management, equipment utilization, gate processes, and shipping methods to support efficient operations. This person will Lead, train, and manage warehouse personnel to address daily operational needs and achieve short and long-term performance objectives. while ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Accurate recording of inventory transactions.
  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping and packaging departments. inventory control, space management, and logistics
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures. Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency - with customer satisfaction the primary goal - by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
  • Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention
  • Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages
  • Institute and maintain daily cycle counting process. Audit and report inventory while making recommendations.
  • Store parts in appropriate locations to prevent possible misallocation and adhering to FIFO procedure.
  • Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment. Set up warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads. Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest federal and state safety regulations
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
  • Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Precise tracking and recording of parts in and out of inventory.
  • Accurate inventory counts and records.
  • Ensure all quality aspects of this position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Preferred Associate's degree (or equivalent) in logistics or supply chain management
  • 10 + years experience in warehouse management
  • 7+ years managerial or supervisory experience in warehouse environment.
