Warehouse Manager requires a seasoned professional who can effectively manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in material handling, forklift operation, shipping & receiving, delivery scheduling, cycle counting, order picking, loading & unloading. Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Manage all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and safe storage of goods and handling of all warehouse materials.
- Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Manage delivery scheduling to optimize delivery times and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy, and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Supervise order picking processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee loading and unloading processes, ensuring safety standards are upheld and goods are handled properly.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Implement and uphold warehouse policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to optimize operations and meet business objectives.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse management role.
- Proven experience in material handling, forklift operation, shipping & receiving, delivery scheduling, cycle counting, order picking, loading & unloading.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
- Certification in forklift operation is highly desirable.
