About the Role

Our client is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their Midwest Operations team. In this role, you'll support the General Manager in running day-to-day warehouse operations — directing receiving, storage, value-added servicing, and dispatch across a wide variety of products. You'll work closely with sales, engineering, and management to keep inventory accurate and warehouse processes running smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for a warehouse professional who's built a solid track record over the last several years and is ready to grow into a bigger leadership role with a stable, established company.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, put-away, inventory control, order picking, packing, and shipping

  • Ensure inventory accuracy and drive operational efficiency

  • Manage warehouse product modification processes

  • Align priorities with the Inside Sales team

  • Drive continuous improvement to optimize turnaround time

  • Plan warehouse layout for efficient space utilization

  • Orient, coach, and motivate staff; manage scheduling, productivity, and safety compliance

  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, hygiene, and safety standards

  • Support budgeting: prepare annual budget, track expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transportation companies

  • Conduct annual physical inventory

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience (bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience is welcome)

  • A steady, progressive career path in warehouse/logistics roles

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with a culturally diverse team

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Experience with WMS, ERP, SAP, or EDI systems is a plus; ASRS automation experience is a plus
