Warehouse Material Handler - 1st Shift

Location: Largo, FL

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Material Handler to support the flow of products and verified orders throughout our production facility. This role is responsible for moving, staging, and organizing materials while ensuring orders are delivered to the correct production departments accurately and efficiently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect product quantities and verify colors of items before moving orders to production.
• Transfer products from wooden pallets to plastic pallets when required for production areas.
• Move verified orders to the appropriate production departments.
• Identify and locate correct production floor destinations based on pull tickets and order information.
• Maintain the flow of pallets and materials throughout the production floor.
• Utilize handheld scanners to accurately track and place orders within the warehouse system.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Managers, Clerks, and Forklift Operators to ensure timely movement of products.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience operating a pallet jack preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow pull tickets, order documentation, and work instructions.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer and scanner experience is a plus.

• Ability and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds repetitively throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in warehouse conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
