Microsoft Office experience is also a must. Forklift certification is preferred.Valid driver's license and good driving record required.Ability to lift 50lbs; buddy systemHighschool Diploma and 1-3 years experience in materials distribution (shipping/receiving/inventory control) or equivalent combination of related education and experienceJob Description Will primarily be responsible to work on tasks that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required.Receives general instructions on work assignments; pulls materials from inventory locations.Packages domestic and international customer orders for shipment and processes them by use of automated or manual carrier shipping systems.Prepares daily shipments by stocking multiple locations with shipping supplies and keeping the warehouse orderly and organized.Keeps track of shipment supplies and notifies department management when ordering is required.The Shipping Associate II will also perform materials management tasks, pulling components for production and cycle counting as required.Sorts customer orders properly, picks products from inventory locations, verifies other associate product pulls, and prepares goods for final shipment in accordance to product temperature shipping requirements.Packs orders requiring dry ice refrigerant as directed.Process daily outbound customer orders using automated carrier or manual shipping systems.Replenishes daily, consumable shipping supplies and other consumables in their work environments.Manages consumable inventories and communicates shortages.Helps to prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped (Transfer Orders, Shipping Letters of Instructions, Export Declarations, etc.).Picks up and delivers materials and components as directed.Signs for materials received, checks goods against packing slips and seeks direction when materials do not match or are damaged; may apply product labeling.Process and deliver materials to appropriate personnel.Performs cycle count and maintains inventory accuracy within company goals.Maintains component inventories and integrity of paper and electronic records without direct supervision.Notifies Supervisor of damaged or mixed materials.Participates in required training on regulatory issues affecting own area of work and reports regulatory issues to management.Assists in preparation of shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments.Communicates daily progress and notifies problems to the Team Lead or Supervisor in a timely manner.Maintains shipping and warehouse areas in a clean and orderly manner.May operate a forklift and/or Company vehicle as directed.Required to maintain security programs in place for shipment processing.Provides accurate, timely, and courteous service to all customers.Follows client EH&S policies and procedures.Takes responsibility for safety in the immediate work area; participates in EH&S programs; notifies supervisors of hazards or unsafe practices.May provide recommendations on maintaining the safety of the work environment.Performs other related duties and assignments as designated by Supervisor.Minimum Qualifications Knowledge And Skills Must have good inter-personal and communication skillsAbility to utilize Microsoft systems such as Excel, Word, Outlook and other software packagesStrong attention to detailAbility to routinely lift 50 poundsValid driver's license and good driving record requiredForklift certification preferredEducation And Experience Highschool Diploma and 1-3 years experience in materials distribution (shipping/receiving/inventory control) or equivalent combination of related education and experience.Seniority level Entry levelEmployment type ContractJob function Management and ManufacturingIndustries Staffing and Recruiting#J-18808-Ljbffr
