Warehouse-Material Handler (SWC - Operations)
Warehouse - Material Handler - Hourly
Reports To: Regional Manager
Primary Role: Leads and controls activities of company warehouse. Ensure shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution are performed in an efficient manner. Takes precautions to protect warehouse contents against loss. Retains and reviews warehouse documents and reports. Ensures warehouse and shipping/receiving activities comply with SWC policies. Coordinates returned and repaired equipment requirements. Coordinates receiving, purchasing entries into the accounting system. Assists office personnel and other administrative functions as directed.
Responsibilities:
Accountability: The Warehouse - Material Handler will be accountable to the Regional Manager. Secondary accountability will be to the other management, team members and customers of the company.
Qualifications: The Warehouse - Material Handler shall possess a minimum of two to three years' experience in a warehouse environment. Excellent leadership and team development skills. High School Diploma or equivalent. Above average computer skills. Strong written and verbal communication. This person must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well with other people.
Travel: Minimal, some off-site training to be performed.

Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized.
Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse groups.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations.
Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation.
Valid and current driver's license.
Forklift experience is a plus
