Warehouse Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Material Handler to join our team in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials within the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management, and supporting daily operations on the morning shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute materials within the warehouse following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Operate electric fork lift safely and efficiently to move heavy materials.
• Use handheld scanners and tablets to track inventory and update records accurately.
• Perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic math skills for inventory counting and record keeping.
• Previous warehouse experience (preferred).
• Experience operating electric pallet jacks and forklift (preferred).
• Familiarity with FIFO inventory management.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform heavy lifting safely.
• Comfortable using technology such as tablets and scanners.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Available to work morning shift hours.
• Spanish (Preferred)

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 5am-2pm
• 40 Hours per week plus occasional over time

• $17-18 per hour
• Occasional Overtime
• Forklift and Safety Certification
