Position Overview

The Warehouse Material Handler (Zoneperson) is responsible for organizing and replenishing fabric materials in designated warehouse locations to ensure production teams have the correct materials available when needed. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory flow, supporting on-time production, and helping the department achieve operational goals by ensuring materials are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently.

What you'll do

  • Replenish fabric bolts in assigned storage bins to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Locate, organize, and place fabric materials in the correct warehouse locations.
  • Verify fabric information, including names, numbers, and labels, to ensure accuracy.
  • Move fabric materials using proper lifting techniques and safe handling practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse work area.
  • Safely use ladders when accessing fabric stored in higher locations.
  • Follow all company safety procedures when handling materials and operating around warehouse equipment.
  • Support the warehouse team with additional duties as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned

Who you are

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move fabric materials throughout the work shift.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 7+ hours per shift).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately read names, numbers, and labels.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to distinguish colors accurately.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with moving equipment and materials.
  • Dependable team member with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
