Build a Reliable Career in Warehouse Material Handling
Be the backbone of a fast-moving warehouse that powers the HVAC industry. As a Warehouse Material Handling Technician, you will perform cross-functional duties spanning order picking and packing, receiving, inventory control, shipping, and housekeeping. This is a hands-on role with daily safety huddles and team collaboration at its core.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Compensation: 17 to 20 dollars per hour
Overtime: May be required with advance notice whenever possible
Core Responsibilities
- Order picking and packing using an RF scanner; confirm item accuracy and quantities prior to sealing.
- Receiving and unloading inbound shipments; verify counts and condition, record damage or defects, label, and store correctly.
- Inventory support including cycle counts, periodic checks, and discrepancy reporting.
- Material handling with sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach truck, and pallet jacks; stack and store products to optimize space.
- Shipping preparation including labels, documents, and paperwork; load and unload trucks for outbound and inbound activity.
- Quality control checks to protect product integrity; escalate issues promptly.
- Workplace safety and cleanliness; sweep, organize, and dispose of debris to maintain a safe, orderly facility.
- Team collaboration; support training of new hires and contribute to daily safety and operational huddles.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial.
- Proficient with forklifts and pallet jacks; adheres to safety procedures; current forklift license or certification preferred.
- Detail oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in fulfillment.
- Basic computer and scanning skills for order and inventory systems.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Effective communicator and reliable team contributor.
