The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse Operations Intern to join our team. Interns assist the department in providing support to that area. In addition, they may be assigned specific projects either as part of, or in addition to, the day-to-day activities related to the assignment. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, open to new challenges, and have a strong desire to develop skills and knowledge in their field of interest. This is an opportunity to gain valuable hands on experience in your field.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the operations within the warehouse, which may include the following: receiving, general warehouse, fulfillment, and inventory control.
- Serve the field by communicating, via phone & email, with techs coordinating deliveries, working through count variances, and problem-solving parts issues
- Promote and maintain a safe environment.
- Develop and maintain quality processes and measures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate and interact daily with customers, suppliers, and employees to meet customer expectations.
- Lead by example with the highest degree of integrity, promote teamwork, and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.

Requirements and Skills:
- Current college student
- Computer skills that include working with MS office products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess a clean driving record and is able to safely drive several hours at a time
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving your whole body such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, pushing, pulling, and handling various materials.
