Must Haves

• 5+ years of warehouse, inventory, logistics, or material management experience (3+ minimum, 5+ preferred)
• Proven inventory control, cycle count, and inventory reconciliation experience
• Experience using ERP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Forklift operating experience
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Strong organizational and technology skills

Job Overview

Own all warehouse, yard, dock, and inventory operations for the Minneapolis location supporting fiber construction projects. This individual will be solely responsible for managing $5M-$10M of inventory, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating material movement, and supporting contractor and field operations. This is a one-person operation requiring a hands-on, independent contributor who is comfortable operating a forklift and working autonomously. The role is approximately 50% inventory control and 50% physical warehouse operations, though daily priorities may shift based on business needs.

Day-to-Day

• Manage daily warehouse, yard, and inventory operations
• Receive, store, transfer, and issue materials
• Operate a forklift to move, stage, and organize materials
• Support kitting activities and prepare materials for field crews
• Process inventory transactions and maintain inventory accuracy in D365/WMS
• Perform cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and deliveries
• Load and unload trucks
• Monitor inventory levels and escalate shortages
• Maintain warehouse organization, safety, and compliance standards
