Warehouse Operations Leader
Join a fast-growing leader in third-party logistics serving the New Jersey and New York metro markets. Our client offers a dynamic warehouse environment focused on operational excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction across more than 700,000 square feet of distribution space.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
-Lead nightly warehouse operations including picking, loading, shipping, and quality control within a high-volume 3PL distribution environment.
-Supervise approximately 60 warehouse associates and 3 supervisors to ensure productivity, order accuracy, and on-time fulfillment.
-Monitor operational KPIs, staffing levels, and safety compliance to meet customer service and SLA expectations.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives through warehouse management systems (WMS), process optimization, and team development.
Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of warehouse management experience in a distribution or 3PL environment.
-Experience leading large warehouse teams of 40+ employees in a fast-paced operation.
-Strong knowledge of WMS systems, productivity tracking, and operational reporting.
-Ability to work the required night shift schedule of 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM and perform physical warehouse duties as needed.
Preferred Skills & Experience
-Previous night shift leadership experience in warehousing or logistics operations.
-Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements
-Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
-Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Salary: $75,000 annually
Schedule: Night Shift Required - 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM
