Warehouse Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Management

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution of goods
• Ensure all products are handled with care, especially high-value and custom luxury items
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment
• Develop and enforce warehouse procedures and best practices

Inventory Control

• Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits
• Track incoming shipments and outgoing deliveries with precision
• Coordinate with sales and procurement teams to ensure product availability and timelines
• Implement systems to reduce loss, damage, or discrepancies

Logistics & Delivery Coordination

• Schedule and oversee local and national deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
• Coordinate with vendors, freight carriers, and white-glove delivery services
• Optimize shipping methods and costs while maintaining service quality
• Troubleshoot delivery issues and proactively communicate with internal teams and clients

Operations Management

• Streamline workflows to improve efficiency across warehouse and operations functions
• Collaborate with leadership to implement operational strategies and improvements
• Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, delivery timelines, and inventory turnover
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives

Team Leadership

• Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff
• Foster a culture of accountability, attention to detail, and service excellence
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching

Systems & Reporting

• Utilize inventory management and ERP systems to track operations
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and warehouse activity
• Generate reports for leadership on operations performance
• Preferred Experience
• Background in luxury goods, interior design, construction, or architectural products
• Experience coordinating white-glove delivery or installation logistics
• Familiarity with procurement and vendor management
• Experience in customer-facing, customer service role
• Experience in management of a warehouse facility
