This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that's constantly evolving.Main responsibilities:* Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse personnel to attain specific goals and measurable results.* Ensure accuracy within warehouse operations.* Establish, monitor, and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment in strict compliance with government regulations and Company policies* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices.* Maintain accurate and complete documentation of warehouse operations and personnel.* Train and develop supervisors, identifying and mentoring high potential candidates* Successful interaction between other departments within the distribution center* Implement best practices in managing inventories using a warehouse management system* Ability to effectively manage personnel to ensure productivity* Ability to work effectively in a range of temperatures down to -20 degrees.We are looking for candidates who possess the following:* High school graduate* College Degree strongly preferred* 10 plus years of distribution and warehouse experience in grocery wholesale industry.* Knowledge of OSHA, USDA, HAACP, FDA, DEA, EPA, safety regulations, sanitation, and food safety as required for warehouse operations* Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.* Strong knowledge of engineered labor standards preferred* Excellent written and oral interpersonal/communication skills* Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) preferred for successful leadership.* Strong ability to chart, forecast, plan, manage, and measure day-to-day operations.* Able to effectively interact with multiple levels within the company.* Excellent planning and organizational skills* Exhibits initiative, customer service skills, and resourcefulness.We also provide a variety of benefits including:* Competitive wages paid weekly* Access to up to 50% of your earned wages before payday, via our partnership with Stream* Associate discounts* Health and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)* Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay).
