Our client, a leader in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Specialist to join their team. As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, you will be an integral part of the warehouse team supporting daily operations and ensuring smooth customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Operations Specialist
Location: Lockport, NY
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
What's the Job?
- Perform daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Collaborate with clients to fulfill requests, maintain good communication throughout the process, and follow work instructions
- Handle pick items via box, carton, or parcel as required
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation and ensure timely updates in the warehouse management system (WMS)
- Perform audits and physical inventory checks to verify asset accuracy and resolve discrepancies
What's Needed?
- Experience with warehouse management systems and warehouse operations
- Minimum of 3-5 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret operating procedures, technical documents, or regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to questions from managers, customers, and business partners
