Warehouse Operations Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Team Lead to join our team at Wayfair Cranbury for the 2nd Shift (Sun-Wed 7pm-5:30 am). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving team performance, overseeing data entry tasks, managing team punches, as well as coordinating the unloading/loading of trucks, palletizing, staging freight, and ensuring a smooth shift changeover.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Proficiency in computer literacy and data entry
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Forklift certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team to achieve operational goals
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
• Collaborate with the day shift team to facilitate a seamless transition
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members
