**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Team Lead to join our team at Wayfair Cranbury for the 2nd Shift (Sun-Wed 7pm-5:30 am). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving team performance, overseeing data entry tasks, managing team punches, as well as coordinating the unloading/loading of trucks, palletizing, staging freight, and ensuring a smooth shift changeover.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Proficiency in computer literacy and data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Forklift certification preferred
**Responsibilities:**
- Lead and supervise a team to achieve operational goals
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Collaborate with the day shift team to facilitate a seamless transition
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
- Assist in training and onboarding new team members
