Job Description: Are you passionate about Warehouse and Logistics and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Western Approach site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an Aisle Master forklift trucks to support warehouse operations.
- Load and unload vehicles during day shift operations, ensuring goods are handled securely and in line with company procedures.
- Perform manual handling tasks, including pallet breakdown and accurate sorting of customer orders, while complying with health and safety standards.
- Pick and prepare orders efficiently according to customer requirements, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is used responsibly and kept in good working order.
- Complete essential paperwork and follow warehouse procedures, reporting any issues or defects promptly to help us continuously improve.
Required Experience:
- A current Counterbalance and Reach forklift licence is desirable, but not essential.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
