Warehouse Operator 1

Position Description:
Department: Warehouse
The Sinking Spring warehouse stores and supplies material for multiple sites throughout the Sigma family as well as our customers which are located around the world. The site prides itself on its ability to adapt to change and perform tasks that may be slightly out of the normal scope of a warehouse.

Your Role:
The Sinking Spring Warehouse technician is responsible for the receipt, put away, retrieval, shipping, & cycle counting of all raw and finished materials to internal and external customers. The position is also responsible for performing the repackaging of material in a controlled environment. This position will also handle daily housekeeping/maintenance and other special projects, as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

This position requires individuals to be detail-oriented and can work independently and as part of a team. This position must also be flexible and be able to change direction at a moment's notice to meet any urgent requirements. A qualified individual will understand that every day is different and be willing to learn new things when necessary.
High School diploma or equivalent; a minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse or material handling environment.
An understanding of or ability to learn ISO, GMP, OSHA, DOT and IATA regulations
Ability to do basic math.
Ability to obtain forklift operators certification.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds, 40 times in an 8-hour shift
Basic PC skills.
