Job Description
Warehouse Operator
1st shift, 6:30am-2:30pm Monday through Friday
Pay: $20-21/hour
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Must have Stand-Up FL experience
- Verify part number, order number, and quantity on picking documents.
- Operator is responsible for locating, stocking, and consolidating materials in
- proper warehouse locations in an accurate, organized, and safe manner.
- Preparing documentation for receiving and movements of material to insure
- accurate and timely maintenance of perpetual inventory and open order computer files.
- Performing computer transactions to update perpetual and open order computer files as required.
- Complete work output at required levels to approved standards.
- Responsible for picking, packing, and shipping customer orders as may become necessary.
- Responsible for picking, preparing and delivering kited jobs to production as may become necessary.
- Follow direction of coordinator and according to posted procedures and schedules.
- Operate and maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company standards.
- Responsible for moving and transporting skids, cartons, and drums of materials using hand or powered material-moving equipment.
- Lifting, pulling, and pushing of material will be required often.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- High School/GED or experience.
- Power truck experience required
- Ability to identify, solve problems, and multi-task under deadlines.
- Work in a group environment and the ability to perform as a team player.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external
- customers.
- Self-motivational, enthusiastic, and have a positive attitude.
- Proficient with the use of adjustable measuring devices, rules, scales, gages and
- fixtures
