2nd Shift Warehouse Operator
Hours: 2:30pm-10:30pm
Pay: $19-$20/hour
Job Description:
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Verify part number, order number, and quantity on picking documents.
- Operator is responsible for locating, stocking, and consolidating materials in
- proper warehouse locations in an accurate, organized, and safe manner.
- Preparing documentation for receiving and movements of material to insure
- accurate and timely maintenance of perpetual inventory and open order computer
- files.
- Performing computer transactions to update perpetual and open order computer
- files as required.
- Complete work output at required levels to approved standards.
- Responsible for picking, packing, and shipping customer orders as may become
- necessary.
- Responsible for picking, preparing and delivering kited jobs to production as may
- become necessary.
- Follow direction of coordinator and according to posted procedures and
- schedules.
- Operate and maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company
- standards.
- Responsible for moving and transporting skids, cartons, and drums of materials
- using hand or powered material-moving equipment. Lifting, pulling, and pushing
- material will be required often.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- High School/GED or experience.
- Power truck experience required
- Ability to identify, solve problems, and multi-task under deadlines.
- Work in a group environment and the ability to perform as a team player.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external
- customers.
- Self-motivational, enthusiastic, and have a positive attitude.
- Proficient with the use of adjustable measuring devices, rules, scales, gages and
- fixtures
