Warehouse Operator

This position involves stacking and down-stacking pallets. The candidate will be physically moving the materials themselves by hand and occasionally using a pallet jack or forklift operator. Frequent bending and lifting are involved and required. Heavy lifting 50 lbs. Cherry picker experience is REQUIRED

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday 5:59 am to 4:30pm until completion.

Responsibilities, including opening the shipping department (chalking tires, opening gates, assigning doors, etc.).
Inventory Management: Provide inventory control with a weekly shipping supply list, take weekly inventory of pallets, and address any shipping issues promptly.
Supervision: Oversee employees in the shipping department, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Documentation: Create bills of lading for orders to ship, label pallets/pieces, and ensure all documentation is accurate.
Quality Control: Conduct spot checks on loaded orders, ensure strapping is done correctly, and close trucks as they are completed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a forklift operator.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and shift between physical and administrative duties.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and shipping documentation.
