The Warehouse Operator supports daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate inventory control, proper material handling, and timely support of production and shipping requirements while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and GMP standards.
Job Description:
Position Type: Full-time, Hourly
Reporting To: Warehouse Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, packaging, and finished goods according to procedures
Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing lists for accuracy
Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production and outbound shipments
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Support material flow to meet production schedules
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse systems or ERP tools (e.g., SAP)
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory processes
Report and investigate inventory discrepancies
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Follow all safety, GMP, and company procedures
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience in food or dairy environments is a plus
Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP platforms (SAP preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
