Job Title: Warehouse Operator I
Location: Cleveland, OH (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay Rate: $20/hour on W2
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Operator I to support warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves processing customer orders, receiving inbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and hazardous material regulations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and has experience in warehouse operations, SAP, shipping & receiving, and forklift operation.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
  • Receive, inspect, unpack, store, and organize incoming materials and products.
  • Pick, pack, label, and stage customer orders for shipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP and RF scanners.
  • Perform inventory audits, shelf maintenance, stock replenishment, and material movement.
Shipping & Receiving
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
  • Verify product quantities, catalog numbers, lot numbers, and shipping documentation.
  • Prepare shipments in accordance with hazardous material regulations.
  • Apply shipping labels and maintain accurate shipping records.
Inventory & Material Handling
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and warehouse equipment safely.
  • Deliver raw materials and supplies to production and laboratory teams.
  • Maintain organized warehouse storage areas and inventory accuracy.
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow company SOPs, safety procedures, and hazardous material handling requirements.
  • Wear required PPE, including respirator and protective hood.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and safety concerns.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience (3+ years preferred).
  • Experience with shipping & receiving, inventory control, and material handling.
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience.
  • Experience using SAP, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
  • Experience handling hazardous materials.
  • Strong computer and inventory management skills.
  • Excellent attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
