•**Only qualified Warehouse Operator candidates located near the Covington, Georgia area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent experienceQualifications: Certified to operate a forklift and manual or automatic hand truck Must pass Lift Drivers Test Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Ability to read and interpret distribution documents and operational procedures/specifications Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from a supervisor 2-3 years of experience operating material handling equipment, especially a stand-up forklift truck preferredLanguage Skills: Good oral and written communication skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in Basic EnglishMathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical computations and apply them to operational tasksReasoning Ability: Good logic and reasoning ability Ability to define problems and find logical solutions Ability to evaluate and resolve daily issues using sound judgmentPhysical Demands: Regular use of hands to finger, handle, or feel Occasionally required to stand, reach, lift, and/or move up to 30 pounds Ability to meet with personnel in other areas of the building Close vision required Must be free of health conditions that would prohibit heavy lifting, pulling, bending, or prolonged standingResponsibilities: Unload inbound trucks and verify numbers and quantities Stack boxes onto specific pallet patterns Drive forklift and locate pallets into racks Work between Covington and Madison plants as needed Exercise safe lifting techniques when bending, lifting, and turning Accept materials from other divisions/departments for ethylene oxide sterilization Verify catalog numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates per procedures Complete JD Edwards transactions utilizing IBM Data Collection scanners Assemble/build sterilization loads according to defined palletization diagrams Place Biological Indicators into sterilization loads Initiate sterilization load record documentation Locate materials into pallet/BIN locations Operate inventory control systems where applicable Maintain acceptable work areas per procedures and Quality System Regulations Support buying and selling processes Perform other duties as requiredWork Environment: May work in hot and humid locations Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, electrical shock risks, explosive gas, toxic and caustic chemicals, and loud noise Must be willing to work off-hours as required Must be able to work with minimal supervisionAdditional Notes: Candidates must complete the forklift questionnaire prior to submission DT required Candidates should be committed to long-term employment in the role Additional candidate-related questions may be required prior to offer **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.** Benefits: For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here.
