Job Overview:
Under some supervision, the candidate will follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions, and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse. The candidate will receive incoming goods, checking for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. The successful candidate will accurately sort, label, and store goods while arranging storage to optimize warehouse space. The candidate will also pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.

Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE): The candidate must stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards. The candidate will report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard and comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations. The candidate is expected to use appropriate personal protective equipment and promote interdependence by looking out for others. The candidate will correct hazards within their control and capabilities, recognize how work may impact the environment, and work to minimize negative impacts while engaging in HSE Training.
Quality: The candidate follows all applicable standard work, work instruction/process documentation, and established quality procedures. The candidate raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures, performs quality checks for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices, and identifies and controls non-conforming material.
Delivery: The candidate will receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods, and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space. The successful candidate operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack, and ship products per the customer's expectations. The candidate demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills and works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
Teamwork: The candidate communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams. The candidate completes training in line with business requirements and participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development. The candidate maintains a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks, and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks. The candidate remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals. The candidate works with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and identify equipment in need of repair.
