Warehouse Operator
Location: Raleigh, NC
Pay Rate: $20.00 $22.00/hr
Schedule: Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM | Overtime as required
Duration: 3 Months (Potential for Extension)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Operator to support shipping floor and general warehouse operations within a cGMP environment. This role is responsible for shipping finished goods, inventory handling, and executing customer orders safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting company quality, safety, and productivity standards.

The Warehouse Operator will rotate weekly between Picker, Packer, Loader, and Rover assignments and will be responsible for performing the duties associated with each role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, stage, and organize products according to daily plans and picking tickets
  • Inspect pallets and products for damage and identify issues as needed
  • Maintain proper order staging and loading readiness throughout the day
  • Group product lots, identify mixed lots, and mark orders appropriately
  • Maintain required shipping documentation and SOP compliance
  • Support teammates and warehouse operations as needed
  • Inspect drums, bags, pallets, slip sheets, and packaging materials for defects
  • Label, mark, adjust, and prepare products for shipment
  • Verify accuracy of packed orders and ensure compliance with order requirements
  • Complete packing documentation and issue No Errors reports
  • Maintain product cleanliness and report damaged containers promptly
  • Support loading readiness and cross-functional teamwork
  • Support warehouse housekeeping, inventory supplies, and 5S activities
  • Assist Picker, Packer, or Loader teams based on operational needs
  • Handle rejects, miscellaneous shipments, and supply/document deliveries
  • Manage pallet movement, transfers, and warehouse organization activities
  • Support workflow continuity during staffing or assignment changes
  • Wrap, band, label, and prepare pallets according to SOPs and customer requirements
  • Load trailers using proper configurations and specifications
  • Block and brace loads safely during shipment preparation
  • Operate and maintain wrapping equipment
  • Complete required shipping documentation and support team operations

Additional Responsibilities

  • Follow cGMP, safety, SOP, and company policy requirements
  • Use warehouse software systems to review order, inventory, and shipping information
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and assigned warehouse zones
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Complete required training by designated deadlines
  • Communicate operational concerns or inability to meet assigned duties directly with leadership

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience in a cGMP environment
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse safety practices, equipment operations, and troubleshooting
  • Valid Driver s License required
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of the metric system and ability to convert kilograms to pounds
  • Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment including:
    • Forklift / Fork Truck
    • Trailer Spotting Tractor (Yard Dawg)
    • Power Equipment & Hand Tools
    • Barcode Scanners
    • Basic Computer Systems

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
