Warehouse Order Selector

Position Summary

The Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting, picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment within a warehouse or distribution center environment. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Order Selection and Fulfillment

• Accurately select and assemble customer orders using pick lists, RF scanners, voice-picking systems, or warehouse management systems.
• Verify product descriptions, quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates as required.
• Build pallets and organize products for safe transportation and delivery.
• Wrap, label, and stage completed orders for shipping.
• Meet established productivity, accuracy, and performance standards.

Warehouse Operations

• Stock, rotate, and replenish inventory as needed.
• Assist with receiving and put-away of merchandise.
• Maintain organized storage locations and work areas.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as directed.

Equipment Operation

• Safely operate pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment as authorized.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Follow all equipment safety guidelines and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, or order selecting experience preferred.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math and inventory counting skills.
