Job Title:            Warehouse Order SelectorLocation:           In Person, New Haven IndianaCompany:         F McConnell and Sons Inc.Pay:                   $16 to $18/ depends on experience. Job Type:           Full-Time FLSA Status:    Non-Exempt (Hourly)Hours:                 12:00 p.m. to FinishJob Summary:The Warehouse Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role involves picking, packing, and preparing orders in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately select products from designated locations using order sheets or electronic devices (in the freezer, cooler as well as out of freezer and cooler).
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or conveyance.
• Ensure orders are accurate and meet quality standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as Electric and Non Electric forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area: Clean boxes, sweep, break boxes as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order discrepancies or issues.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good physical condition; ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work till picking is completed.

Work Environment:

• This job operates in a warehouse setting and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving machinery.
• The position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
