Warehouse Order Selector

Location: Wells, Maine - 100% Onsite

Schedule: 1st shift (6am to 2pm), OT optional

Pay: $22.00/hr

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Order Selector to join our fast-paced logistics team. In this role, you will accurately select, palletize, and prepare customer orders for shipment while helping maintain efficient warehouse operations. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, working in a team environment, and contributing to keeping local communities stocked and supplied.

The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, experience operating electric pallet jacks, and the ability to work safely in varying warehouse environments, including freezer and refrigerated areas.

Responsibilities

• Use a voice-controlled system to accurately select grocery, frozen, and perishable products
• Operate a ride-on electric pallet jack and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Build and palletize orders for shipment to local stores
• Prepare pallets for loading and transportation
• Maintain productivity, accuracy, and safety standards throughout the shift
• Work in different warehouse environments, including freezer, refrigerator, and dry storage areas
• Lift products weighing up to 87 lbs. throughout the shift, including shoulder-level and overhead lifting
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous warehouse, order selecting, picker/packer, or pallet jack experience preferred
• Ability to operate or obtain certification to operate electric pallet jacks and warehouse equipment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move continuously throughout the shift
