Job Overview: The Warehouse Fulfillment Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This role involves working within a warehouse environment to ensure that all orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Order Picking: Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications using handheld scanners and MiniBobs.
- Packing: Pack products securely into boxes, ensuring proper handling and protection of items during transit.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage, verify item quantities, and ensure that the correct items are selected and packed.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by restocking shelves, organizing products, and performing regular stock counts.
- Shipping Preparation: Prepare and label packages for shipment, ensuring that shipping documentation and labels are accurate.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members to meet daily fulfillment targets and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure all orders are completed by their due date. If necessary, work additional hours beyond the regular shift to fulfill any outstanding orders and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment role is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Technology: Basic familiarity with handheld scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
