Warehouse Problem Solver – Full-Time, 2nd Shift | $21.75/hr

About the Role
Veloz is hiring a Warehouse Problem Solver to keep product moving in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse. When something goes wrong, like a missing item, a damaged package, a mislabeled shipment or an inventory mismatch, you find the cause and fix it so the operation stays on track. This role is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, likes solving puzzles and stays calm under pressure. Amazon experience is a plus!

Schedule

• Full-time, 4 days a week (10-hour shifts), 5:00 PM start
• Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday
• Overtime as needed. This is a 7-day operation, so schedules may vary.

What You'll Do

• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, including missing, extra or misplaced items
• Handle damaged, mislabeled or unscannable product and route it correctly
• Investigate and fix exceptions in receiving, picking, packing and shipping
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and correct inventory
• Conduct cycle counts and audits to keep inventory accurate
• Work with associates, leads and management to clear problems quickly and keep workflow moving
• Spot recurring issues and suggest process improvements
• Keep clear, accurate records of issues and resolutions
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

What You Bring

• Warehouse, distribution or fulfillment experience
• Amazon experience, especially as a Problem Solver or in ICQA (a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Comfort with handheld scanners, WMS and basic computer tasks
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
• Availability for 2nd shift, with flexibility for overtime
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift

This is a temporary assignment through Veloz, a staffing agency, with one of our client partners. Candidates must be 18 or older. Hiring includes a pre-employment drug screen (THC is not tested), a background check and E-Verify.
