Warehouse Production Laborer

TradeWorX Pittsburgh is hiring a Warehouse Production Laborer for a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity in the Irwin, PA area. This position offers a consistent four-day workweek, three-day weekends, and the opportunity to earn permanent employment.

This is a hands-on position involving cable handling, measuring, cutting, and general production work. Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required for dependable candidates who are comfortable with physical work.

Pay and Schedule

• $20.00 per hour
• Monday through Thursday
• 6: 00 AM–4: 30 PM
• Overtime may be available based on production needs

Job Duties

• Pull cable from large production spools
• Measure and cut cable according to work-order specifications
• Move and position cable spools weighing approximately 50–125 pounds using team assistance or available material-handling equipment
• Operate basic cable-cutting and measuring equipment
• Prepare completed cable for production or shipment
• Maintain an organized and safe work area
• Follow production instructions and workplace safety procedures

Requirements

• Comfortable performing physical work throughout a 10-hour shift
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull materials
• Ability to safely move heavier cable spools with assistance
• Basic measuring skills and attention to accuracy
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Previous warehouse, production, construction, or general labor experience is preferred
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
