Our client in Buffalo, NY, is hiring a Warehouse Production Specialist to join their team!

This is an on-site/full-time/direct-hire position
Salary Range based on experience: Up to $24/HR

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory management
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials and products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock locations.
  • Perform cycle counts and audits.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with planning and organization initiatives.
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Load and unload incoming deliveries and outbound shipments.
  • Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Package and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Coordinate freight and parcel shipments with carriers.
  • Ensure orders are shipped accurately and on schedule.
  • Warehouse operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Organize inventory for efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts.
  • Support process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with facility and warehouse maintenance as needed.
Growth & Leadership
  • Take ownership of assigned operational responsibilities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes.
  • Skill to learn operation of production equipment, saws, polishers, and benders.
  • Support training and onboarding of future team members as the company grows.
  • Demonstrate readiness for increased responsibility and advancement opportunities.
Qualifications:

Required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
Preferred
  • 2+ years of warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience.
  • Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or construction-related industries.
  • Experience coordinating freight shipments.
