Position Summary

The Warehouse PM owns the physical execution of DCSL's warehouse operations at an assigned facility. This role is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of customer product through the facility, from inbound receiving and offload through storage, inspection, audits, and final load-out. Working in close partnership with the Program PM and the field crews, the Warehouse PM directs day-to-day floor operations, manages third-party rigging, and handling teams. They will also work with or coordinate logistics support, and ensures that every piece of customer equipment is handled to DCSL's standards.

The Warehouse PM is responsible for the execution. The Program PM is accountable for the customer and the outcome. The two roles are designed to flex and support one another, and there will be times when the Warehouse PM steps into the customer-facing and coordination work to keep a project moving.

Where This Role Sits

Warehouse PMs report to the Director of Warehousing Operations, who owns Phase 3: operationalizing each facility and running on-the-ground physical operations across the network. Each project request arrives from the customer's assigned Program PM on the Senior Director of Program Operations' team. The Warehouse PM executes the physical work and keeps the WMS and the equipment digital twin true to what is on the floor.

What You'll Do

  • Own the inbound process for customer product, coordinating and directing and participating with offload, receiving, and inbounding so that equipment is accounted for, documented, and staged accurately on arrival.

  • Manage third-party rigging, handling, logistics, and specialty moving teams on site, scheduling, directing, and holding vendors accountable to safety standards, timelines, and quality of work.

  • Dispatch only from DCSL's approved provider bench, and confirm the provider is currently active on that bench before the work begins. Integrated Services maintains the bench and guarantees every active provider carries current insurance. Escalate immediately, and stop the work, if a provider's coverage or qualification is ever in question.

  • Report building issues at your site, including utilities, connectivity, HVAC, dock equipment and levelers, the overhead crane, fire systems, and security, to the Manager of Facility Operations, who owns resolution.

  • Direct the physical organization of the warehouse, including staging plans, storage layout, space utilization, and the placement and tracking of customer equipment within the facility.

  • Oversee load-out operations, ensuring product is pulled, staged, and released accurately and on schedule against customer and project requirements.

  • Perform and document inspections of incoming and outgoing product, identifying and reporting damage, discrepancies, or condition issues in line with DCSL's inspection protocols.

  • Enforce safety standards and operational procedures across all physical warehouse activity, maintaining a safe and orderly environment for crews, vendors, and equipment.

  • Coordinate closely with the Program PM to align physical execution with customer needs, project timelines, and information flow, ensuring the floor and the account stay in sync.

  • Keep the WMS and the equipment digital twin updated in real time, so the record of product location, condition, and movement always matches the floor and customer reporting stays accurate.

  • Effectively, accurately, and consistently conduct inventory audits.

  • Support new site launches and customer onboarding by helping scope, plan, and stand up physical operations at the site level.

  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in physical workflows and drive continuous improvement in handling, storage, and load-out processes.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the broader operations team.

  • Be willing to travel if needed to support other DCSL locations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, material handling, logistics, or a closely related field, with direct responsibility for physical product movement.

  • Demonstrated experience directing third-party rigging, handling, or moving crews and holding vendors accountable to safety and performance standards.

  • Forklift and other lifting equipment certification.

  • Experience with safely and efficiently operating equipment as well as experience overseeing licensed operators.

  • Working knowledge of material handling equipment, rigging principles, and safe handling practices for heavy or high-value equipment. Can effectively and safely operate warehouse equipment when needed to support offload, relocation, and loadout of equipment.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple inbound and outbound activities simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy or safety.

  • Solid understanding of warehouse safety standards and OSHA requirements, with the ability to enforce a safety-first culture on the floor.

  • Comfortable documenting inspections, discrepancies, and product movement accurately and consistently in a warehouse management system.

  • Valid driver's license. Employment is subject to a background check conducted in accordance with applicable law. Ability and willingness to travel to DCSL warehouse locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data center logistics, industrial warehousing, or heavy-equipment environments.

  • Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems and inspection documentation workflows.

  • Background in field supervision or physical operations across multi-site environments.

What We're Looking For

  • An active floor leader. You are most effective in the warehouse, directing work, solving problems in real time, actively participating in movement activities, and setting the standard for safe, accurate execution.

  • Detail-driven. You treat customer product as if it were your own, and you catch condition and count issues before they become problems.

  • A vendor manager. You know how to direct rigging and handling crews and get quality work out of third-party teams.

  • A collaborator. You keep the Program PM and the customer informed, and you step across roles when the operation needs it.

  • Accountable. You own outcomes on the floor and hold your teams and vendors to high standards of safety and quality.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding, field-based role. The Warehouse PM must be able to perform and supervise activities requiring considerable use of arms, legs, and full body movement, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials up to 50 lbs. Must be comfortable working at varying heights, in proximity to heavy equipment and rigging operations, in non-temperature-controlled warehouse environments, and outdoors in all weather conditions and over uneven terrain.

Values & Culture

DCSL is looking for people who take pride in the work, show up for the team, and bring a no-job-too-small attitude to every project. We move fast, support each other, and build something worth being proud of. If that sounds like you, we would love to talk.
