Warehouse Receiving Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Receiving Associate to join our team. The Receiving Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that all incoming products are accurately recorded, properly labeled, and efficiently stored. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operations of our inventory system and supporting the wider warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately record and enter product information into the system upon arrival.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Break down incoming pallets and small packages for inventory preparation.
• Verify quantities and label each unit with precision.
• Maintain thorough and detailed receiving reports.
• Organize and store received products in designated inventory locations.
• Assist in consolidating pallets to maximize warehouse space.
• Load and unload pallets/items from the box truck between locations daily.
• Handle all incoming freight and small packages, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
• Ensure the receiving area is clean and clear of completed products.
• Perform other duties as assigned by department leaders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (up to 80 lbs. with assistance).
• Proficiency in basic computer programs such as Google Docs and Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized.
• Strong basic math and reasoning skills.
• Familiarity with safety rules and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic understanding of computer systems and peripherals.
• Experience operating Forklifts, Hi-Lo machines, and Pallet Jacks is preferred.
• Physical capability to sit, stand, walk, push, and pull for up to 8 hours daily.
