WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Receiving Manager you are responsible for leading all receiving operations, ensuring the accurate, safe, and efficient receipt, storage, and movement of materials while maintaining inventory integrity and supporting overall warehouse operations.

• Oversee daily receiving operations, ensuring materials are accurately received, inspected, staged, stored, and distributed according to company standards
• Maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring receiving documentation, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating the timely movement of materials throughout the warehouse
• Lead, coach, and develop receiving associates through hiring, training, performance management, and ongoing employee development
• Optimize warehouse efficiency by improving material flow, storage utilization, inventory rotation, and warehouse organization
• Ensure material handling equipment, storage systems, and warehouse processes support safe and efficient operations
• Promote and maintain a safe workplace by enforcing safety protocols, conducting incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with company safety standards
• Oversee department administration, including timecard approvals, PTO requests, attendance corrections, and performance documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, training programs, and cross-functional projects to enhance operational performance and service levels

PAY RANGE:

$70,000-$80,000 per year, based on experience

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday (occasional Saturday)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• 5+ years of warehouse/distribution operations experience with a proven results-oriented track record
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Proficient in ERP systems, basic computer applications, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Basic analytical and math skills with the ability to interpret warehouse documentation and system data

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand on a hard surface for extended periods of times
• Ability to lift 75lbs on a daily basis
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Must be able to communicate effectively in a typical warehouse environment with a standard level of warehouse noise
