About the Role:

This is an exciting time to join Capstone Logistics. While we are already a market leader in the supply chain solutions industry, we continue to grow at an astounding pace in all sectors of our business! To support this multifaceted growth, the Human Resources department is experiencing an exciting transformation, as we re-assess and re-invent our structure, processes and mindset to meet the challenges of our fast-growing and ever-changing business.

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing daily generalist support to your designated client group. You will serve as a valued partner to the field through cultivating meaningful relationships and carrying out human resources initiatives that optimize business success with the support of the Corporate HR team. In this varied role, you will act as the “go-to” for your group, shifting from routine questions to operational tasks to value-added projects that ensure a positive employee experience for all associates. You will also play a key role in supporting recruiting efforts by conducting onsite recruiting activities, facilitating new hire orientations, and guiding candidates through the hiring and onboarding process to ensure a seamless and positive experience from application to start date.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

- Conduct onsite recruiting efforts, including hiring events, candidate screenings, and interviews to support staffing needs.
- Guide candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process by communicating next steps, assisting with required documentation, and providing an exceptional candidate experience.
- Facilitate and conduct new hire orientations, ensuring associates are prepared and informed before their start date.
- Partner with operations and recruiting teams to ensure hiring goals and workforce needs are met.
- Handle assigned tasks via ticketing system, hotline cases, background checks, I-9s, and other HR activities.
- Perform associate relations activities including coaching, conflict resolution, performance issues, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
- Process transactions via HCM and other HR systems. Train managers on HCM best practices when appropriate.
- Facilitate the deployment and delivery of existing and new HR programs, processes, and policies.
- Analyze issues, resolve problems, and propose solutions.
- Administer and advise on PTO.
- Understand and help others interpret company policies and federal and state laws.
- Assess the efficiency of current HR activities and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and decrease "busy work" whenever possible.
- Answer questions and resolve associate concerns.
- Handle special projects as needed.

What You Need to be Successful in the Role:

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1 or more years of progressive HR generalist experience, preferably within a high-volume, fast-paced, and dynamic organization.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and respond quickly and positively to shifting priorities.
- Results-oriented problem solver with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Working knowledge of relevant employment laws and policies.
- Experience with MS Office tools and HR Information Systems.
- Experience recruiting, conducting orientations, or supporting employee onboarding is a plus.
- Drive and initiative to go above and beyond to achieve goals.
