Warehouse Representative
Location: West Chicago, IL, US 60185
Job Type: Full-Time 7am-4pm Monday-Friday

Pay Range: $22.00–$24.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Representative to join our team in West Chicago, IL. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to providing excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Essential Responsibilities
- Unload, sort, and stage incoming products.
- Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders using an RF scanning system.
- Manually pull specialized non-RF scanned items, including sample chairs, parts, literature, and other materials.
- Stock products on racks, shelves, and bins according to assigned locations.
- Regularly lift and move products weighing 50–80 pounds, with occasional team lifts of 80–150 pounds.
- Perform daily and weekly maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Communicate shipping, packaging, delivery, or tagging issues to Customer Care, the Warehouse Manager, and/or the General Manager.
- Respond promptly to internal and external customer requests.
- Complete work accurately, efficiently, and with strong attention to detail.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and keeping workstations orderly.
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), including forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Report safety concerns and incidents promptly and participate in required safety training.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Experience using RF scanners preferred.
- Ability to successfully complete company-provided PIT certification.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Dependable, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in hot and cold warehouse environments.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly stand and walk throughout the workday.
- Frequently use hands and arms to handle materials and equipment.
- Frequently climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
- Regularly lift and move 50–80 pounds and occasionally participate in team lifts of 80–150 pounds.
- Work in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to moving mechanical equipment, varying weather conditions, and extreme temperatures.
