Warehouse Representative

The Warehouse Representative is responsible for performing the daily business actives of the Distribution Center such as shipping, receiving, order fulfillment and inventory control.

Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, ship, and receive orders from and to BDI customers, suppliers, and branches.
• Work efficiently to ensure accuracy and meet deadlines.
• Stand, walk, bend, and lift objects, often over 25 pounds and occasionally topping 50 pounds in weight.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• May be required to operate a forklift or order picker to reach objects from high shelves and racks.
• Responsible for other duties as they are assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and lift heavy objects, occasionally topping 50 pounds in weight.
• Capability to learn and operate material handling equipment.
• Must be willing to complete all required BDI training.
• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
