Description
The Warehouse Representative is responsible for performing the daily business actives of the Distribution Center such as shipping, receiving, order fulfillment and inventory control.
The shift for this position is Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, ship, and receive orders from and to BDI customers, suppliers, and branches.
- Work efficiently to ensure accuracy and meet deadlines.
- Stand, walk, bend, and lift objects, often over 25 pounds and occasionally topping 50 pounds in weight.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- May be required to operate a forklift or order picker to reach objects from high shelves and racks.
- Responsible for other duties as they are assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Qualifications
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and lift heavy objects, occasionally topping 50 pounds in weight.
- Capability to learn and operate material handling equipment.
- Must be willing to complete all required BDI training.
- The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
