Key Responsibilities
Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient storage, easy access, and optimal use of warehouse space
Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and inspect for damage or discrepancies
Accurately enter receipts, inventory movements, and order details into ERP systems and supporting tools
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with attention to accuracy and proper packaging to prevent damage during transit
Process sales orders and ensure all shipments include correct documentation and labeling
Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the warehouse
Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment and report any issues
Support inventory control processes including cycle counts and stock reconciliation
Make timely and professional deliveries to customers, ensuring orders are transported safely, accurately, and with appropriate documentation

Promote and support Normet’s HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality) initiatives in all areas of work
Maintain accuracy, integrity, and compliance in all documentation and transactions

Adhere to all safety procedures and use required PPE
Report safety incidents or near misses promptly

Stay current with industry trends, systems updates, and warehousing best practices

Work closely with Customer Service and Sales Support teams to ensure alignment and consistent service delivery

Skills & Qualifications
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in inventory and order fulfillment
Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
Ability to safely lift and move up to 70 pounds
Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (preferred)
Proficiency with ERP systems, inventory management tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to travel occasionally within North America, if required
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
2–3 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment preferred
Hands-on experience with shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory control
Experience using ERP systems or warehouse management systems is a plus
Proven ability to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement practical solutions in a warehouse setting
Additional Information
Duties may vary or expand as directed by management based on business needs
Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with occasional extended hours as needed
