About the Role
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Warehouse Business Developer to identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and drive revenue growth within our warehouse and logistics operations.
This role plays a key part in expanding our customer base, maximizing warehouse utilization, and developing a scalable sales function to support company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in warehousing, distribution, and logistics services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
- Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, and market research
- Present warehouse solutions tailored to client needs (storage, fulfillment, distribution, etc.)
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure service feasibility and execution
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
- Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems
Sales Team Development & Leadership Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding sales representatives as the company grows
- Train team members on services, sales processes, and customer engagement strategies
- Help build and implement a structured sales system, including outreach strategies and CRM usage
- Set clear performance expectations and support team members in achieving sales goals
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development
- Lead by example through active selling while contributing to team growth
- Support the development of a strong, results-driven sales culture
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or logistics/warehouse operations
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Leadership potential with interest in developing and guiding a sales team
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
