About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring a Weekend Shift Lead for a warehouse client in Rutherfordton, NC. This role oversees the weekend packing team, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met throughout the shift.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and support Packing Associates throughout the shift
- Monitor productivity and ensure quality/packing standards are met
- Train new team members on packing procedures and safety guidelines
- Communicate with warehouse management regarding shift performance and issues
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist with packing duties as needed to support the team
What We're Looking For:
- Previous warehouse or packing experience required
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass a satisfactory criminal background check as a condition of employment; candidates are evaluated individually and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
