Warehouse Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team at AMCON Distributing Company, working closely with the Operations Manager. As a Shift Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations and provide leadership and guidance to warehouse personnel during your assigned shift. \n \nBENEFITS\n\n Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision & More\n Paid Holidays and Vacation Time\n Competitive 401(k) + Company Match\n Training & Development\n Possible Advancement Opportunities\n \nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n\n Assist in overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations.\n Support the implementation of warehouse procedures and policies.\n Supervise and train warehouse associates, ensuring proper workflow and adherence to safety protocols.\n Assist in monitoring warehouse performance metrics and implementing improvement initiatives.\n Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.\n Observes and reports personnel performance, making recommendations to be considered by the Operations Manager and Human Resources Department. \n \nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\n High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is a plus.\n Knowledge of warehouse operations.\n Familiarity with warehouse management systems and software.\n Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.\n Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team.\n Attention to detail and accuracy.\n Ability to lift 40-60 pounds and to stand, bend and lift regularly. \n* Knowledge of safety regulations in a warehouse environment.\n\n
