If this sounds like the kind of workplace you want to be a part of, keep reading to learn more about becoming our Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Coordinator!YOUR DAY COULD INCLUDE:Coordinating with coworkers, carrier representatives, and establishment reps to support efficient shipping and receiving processes, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve any material damages, shortages, or discrepanciesFollowing specifications to assemble customer shipments and gather the correct itemsOpening incoming/outgoing boxes and verifying the contents against inventory recordsGathering and moving items according to production schedules, customer orders, and requisitionsTransporting materials to jobsites in a company vehicle and moving objects around the warehouse using forklifts, conveyors, hand trucks, and other equipmentAccurately preparing outgoing orders, determining shipping methods, and recording shipment dataCreating accurate records in our computer system and maintaining a well-stocked inventoryProperly sorting materials as well as packing, sealing, and labeling materials for shippingAssisting with other duties as assigned, such as compiling worksheets and counting/weighing items for conformanceWAREHOUSE SHIPPING AND RECEIVING COORDINATOR REQUIREMENTS:Forklift certificationProficiency with computers and Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)Ability to use hands/fingers to assemble packages, work with cables, and use toolsAbility to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, and lift/move 10 - 25 poundsAbility to occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs.Ability to adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines and goalsAbility to stay organized and energetic throughout the dayAccuracy, dependability, and punctualityWillingness to take accountabilityPositive attitude, customer service mindset, and effective communication skillsCommon sense with solid reasoning and problem-solving skillsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordJOIN US!In 1996, Northcentral Telcom (NCT) started as a local and nationwide provider of EFI and testing services on major carrier networks.
